Fellow wins Draper Memorial Medal

Prof Richard V Dingle (FRSSAf, University of Cape Town and University of Copenhagen) has been awarded the Draper Memorial Medal of the Geological Society of South African for 2015, for his “contributions to sea-floor geology around the coast of southern Africa”.

The Draper Medal  is “The highest award of the GSSA, introduced in 1932, and awarded annually to recognize an exceptional member of the Geological Profession, who in the spirit of Dr. David Draper, has excelled in the advancement of South African Earth Science.”
