Results of the RSSAf National Essay Competition Announced

Congratulations to all the 2017 Winners and their Teachers as another successful Competition is concluded.   The winning schools will be contacted individually shortly.   To all participants – many thanks to you for supporting this Competition, we do hope that it has been of benefit beyond the prizes.

Topic 1 : ‘There is huge overlap in the DNA of humans, other animals, and even of plants and bacteria.  What are the implications for the way in which we think about humankind and life?’

Topic 3 : ‘The Race to Mars – discuss the difference between “visiting” and “settling”. Which do you think would be of most benefit to science?’
